Studio A features two state-of-the-art vocal booths and a live room unrivaled in St. Louis. With its huge skylight and imported Brazilian cherry hardwood floor, the room boasts the largest size in the area and unparalleled acoustics. Expansive enough for orchestra sections and choir groups, the Live Room is also intimate enough for band configurations.
Control Room A
Complete with a Control 24, 192-track ProTools High Definition system, plenty of high quality microphone preamps, and lots of space, Studio A is the choice of the serious musician. We turn out world-class recording here every day. The Control Room for Studio A is a comfortable 18 x 20 feet and has been professionally designed to enhance creativity and maximize productivity. It's state-of-the-art from the plug-ins to the outputs.
Live Room A
This 25 x 22 foot area is perfect for band setups and rap/hip-hop recordings and is even large enough to record small choirs. Adjustable lighting helps set the mood and augment musical creativity. The room features 20-foot ceilings at the skylight peak, Brazilian hardwood floors, ample power and an attached vocal booth with a large window for isolation with great visual communication. Both studios contain 6 x 8 foot professionally designed and installed windows between the control rooms, vocal booths, and live rooms.
Vocal Booth A
With optimal ambience, perfect isolation, and a clear view of the Control Room through a 6 x 8 foot triple-paned window, Vocal Booth A is ideal for recording vocals, voiceovers, and single acoustic instruments, capturing each nuance without interference or foreign sounds.
Amp Room
Another great added feature of studio A is the Amp Room/Iso Room. We use this to store mics, stands, cables, and other things so we can keep the live room clean, but it is also a well-tuned vocal booth or iso room -- just one more thing to help get a great recording.
Loading Dock
Tired of loading far distances to a club, studio, or rehearsal? You wont have that problem here at Jupiter. Our loading dock is just 15 feet through the garage, outside the live room. The garage is an easy place to store your equipment while you are tracking other parts, keeping all of your gear out of the way. One person can even be loading and unloading while another is recording. That's convenient.
